TriBike Transport Introduces TBT Bike Services, Inc.
New Company to Include TBT Race Wheels and
TBT Bike Tech Powered by Inside-Out Sports
May 1, 2012 - TriBike Transport (TBT), the original fully-assembled bike transport service for triathlon events, proudly announces the inception of their sister company, TBT Bike Services, Inc. The new company expands on TBT’s track record of exemplary service and their long-standing partnership with IRONMAN®.
TBT Bike Services, Inc., will incorporate two branches of service to athletes competing in IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3® races in North America. TBT Race Wheels will provide cutting-edge Zipp race wheel rentals at all such events. TBT Bike Tech Powered by Inside-Out Sports will provide an on-site bike store as well as official on-course tech support at all full distance Ironman races. The new partnership with well-established North Carolina triathlon retailer Inside-Out Sports, TBT will draw on the company’s rich retail history and experience as well as build on the reputation for stellar customer service that stands as the backbone of TBT’s seven years of success.
“TBT Bike Services is a logical expansion of our current service offerings to IRONMAN athletes,” said TBT’s founder Marc Lauzon. “Previously, we focused solely on bringing bikes safely to and from the races. In conjunction with the creation of this new company, TBT has relocated their corporate headquarters to Asheville, North Carolina. This will serve as the operational hub for TBT’s original bike transport service as well as the newly added TBT Bike Services, Inc. Earlier this year, TBT announced a significant expansion to their partnership with WTC, more than doubling the number of IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 events on the TBT service calendar to include all North American events in the IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 series.

ABOUT OUR SERVICE:
With TriBike Transport, you simply drop your bicycle off at one of our partner bike shops on or before the ‘DROP-OFF DEADLINE’. Our experienced drivers carefully load, secure and pad every bicycle onto our custom bike racking system in one of our trucks and drives to your race. Your bicycle is available for you to pick-up at the Event a few days before the race. The only time you need to handle a tool is when you remove your pedals BEFORE you drop-off your bike. With a little extra planning, you may find it convenient to schedule a pre-race bicycle tune-up with your partner bike shop so that the bike is race-ready when the TriBike Transport truck picks it up for your event. Tune-ups must be scheduled in advance with the bike shop.
Round-trip service for most events starts at $300. Include a gear bag for $35.00 more (foreign events not included).
