1) Where/when do I bring my bike for TriBike Transport service to my event?
Take a look at our Logistics page to find the Drop off schedule and additional information.
2) Where is the closest Partner Bike shop to my home?
Find the Partner Shop closest to you through our Partner Bike shop table.
3) What is your cancellation policy?
We offer two options in the event you need to cancel your reservation. The first is a refund of your shipping fee, less a $75 processing fee. The second option is a 50% refund, with the balance applicable to a later event. This allows you to transfer your reservation to a later trip at no additional cost.
4) Are bikes insured while in your possession? What is covered by the insurance?
Your bike is insured up to a value of $1000, and supplemental insurance is available for $6 per $1000 of coverage.
The insurance covers any damage that may occur during the normal process of storing, loading, transporting and delivering bikes from our Partner Shop to the race destination for the round trip. The coverage is limited to the cost of repair or replacement of the damaged item, part or component to a maximum of $1000 or the amount of supplemental insurance purchased. It does NOT include reimbursement for loss or expenses incurred as a result of a delayed delivery.
5) How are the bikes loaded?
We require that pedals be removed from your bike before you drop it off at your local Partner Shop. Each bike is covered with a mover's blanket, which provides two layers of protection between bikes, and securely loaded and strapped into a fully enclosed truck.
6) Do I need to disassemble my bike or pack it in a case?
No. Your bike is transported fully assembled. We only ask that you remove the pedals and keep them with you when you drop your bike off at your local shop.
7) When do I need to drop off my bike?
The drop-off deadline depends on the distance from your local Partner Shop and the location of your event. We try to let you keep your bike as long as possible before the race, and at least up until the previous Saturday so you can do your last weekend ride. However, in cases where the distance is too long, we may require that it be dropped off earlier. Contact us for more details on your specific event.
8) Why is my local Partner Shop not listed to ship to my event?
We need to transport a certain number of bikes for our service to be feasible. If a shop is not listed for a particular event, our research indicated that there would not be enough customers to cover the cost of the truck, driver, fuel, etc. from your area.
